「学び続けることの大切さ」について
書きたいと思います。

ぼくの20代は「書道」「筆耕」に
打ち込んでいたので
他の事を「学ぶ」「勉強する」という習慣が
欠如しておりました。

反省の念を込めてお伝えします。

 

学び続けることの大切さとは？

学び続けることの大切さとは、
簡単に言うと
「今ある知識やスキルを身につけたままで終わらせず、
常に新しいことを吸収していくこと」です。

学び続けることの大切さを理解することは、
人生を豊かにするためにとても重要な事です。

なぜなら、社会に出ると、
常に新しい知識やスキルが求められるからです。

自分の成長やキャリアアップのために、
学び続けることが必要になります。

学び続けることの大切さを感じる瞬間

冒頭で

ぼくの20代は「書道」「筆耕」に
打ち込んでいたので
他の事を「学ぶ」という習慣が
欠如しておりました。

と書きましたが、一枚書いて30円の世界ですから、
とにかく沢山書かなくてはいけません。

睡眠時間は2時間～3時間と言う世界でした。

高単価の仕事も頂き、
なんとか月に30万円～40万円という収入です。

しかも定期的に大きな展覧会の出品の制作も
していました。
書きながら意識が飛ぶと言うことも経験しました。

言い訳になりますが、
他のことを学習する時間などありませんでした。

逆に言うと「書道」「筆耕」は学び続けていました。

今は別の収入源の仕事を長くしています。

「書道」「筆耕」をする機会は
グンと減りましたが、
すぐに書いてくれと言われても
対応することが出来ます。

これは8年続けた学習習慣のたまものだといえます。

外注「筆耕」外注「大型看板屋」本業「書道」
全部ひっくるめると20年以上書いてきました。

時代と共にスキルは変化する

25年前は手書きから、デジタル印刷へ移行されてきた時代です。

ぼくが「書道」「筆耕」をやっていた時期は
まだ活版印刷屋さんも多くおりましたが、
「デジタル印刷」全盛になると
一気に廃業していきました。

当然「筆耕」も数が減り、
収入もダウンし始めた頃でした。

手書きの良さ

「書道」「筆耕」漬けで遊ぶ時間は有りませんでしたが、
貯金は貯まりました。

ちょうど、ぼくに家族が出来た頃で、
その様な「書道」「筆耕」浸けの生活は続けられないだろうと
判断して、その貯金をデジタルの学習に使いました。

AutoCADを勉強して「家族を養う」方向に舵（かじ）を切ったのです。

AutoCADの学習で企業に勤める事ができ
家族を養う生活は安定しました。

しかし「安定」を得ると
そのほかのことは学習しないまま
現在にいたりました。

学び続けないリスク

AutoCADが出来たからと言って、
それだけでは会社は認めてくれません。

常に新しい技術の習得が求められていました。

「今まで当たり前」の技術が「出来て当然」になるのです。

そして

「他に出来る事はないの？」に
会社に要求されます。

要求に対して出来ないと
会社の評価は
「使えないやつ」になってしまいます。

人生の多忙期（いそがしい時期）を過ぎた人は
このことをよく分っているはずです。

 

学び続けることのメリット

自分の人生以外の学習の大切さに最近気づきました。

最近ではHTML5とCSS3やPHP、
illustratorなど勉強をしはじめました。

今から始めるなんて随分遅いと思われる方も多いと思います。

新しい知識やスキルを身につけることで、
挑戦する意欲が湧き、
仕事や勉強に対するモチベーションを維持
しやすいと気づいたからです。

仕事やキャリアアップに役立つ

学び初めて気づいたことは多く、
ぼく自身AutoCADをやっていた割に
「ロジカル」な考え方が欠如していることがわかりました。

「書道」「筆耕」は個人の目や手先
感覚が優先されますが、
それは「ロジカルな考え方」の上に成り立っていることです。

これは
HTML5とCSS3やPHP、illustratorなど勉強をして
やっと気がついた事です。

後に副業で手書きの看板屋さんの
仕事をして気づいたことがあります。

書くのは人の手ですが、
書く看板は「ロジカルな考え方」の
上に成り立っているのです。

「ロジカルな考え方」がないと
めちゃくちゃな構成になってしまいます。

この世は「ロジカルな考え方」に基づいています。

では、「生きがい」はどのように見つけることができるのでしょうか。

一つの答えは、学習です。

学習とは、新しい知識やスキルを身につけることです。
新しいことを学ぶことで、自分の世界が広がり、
新しい価値観や考え方に触れることができます。

それにより、自分の可能性を広げ、
生きがいを見つけることができるのです。

まずは、小さな目標を設定してみるとよいでしょう。

など、小さな目標を設定しましょう。

小さな目標を達成することで、
継続する意欲を高めることができます。

3. 自分を褒める

継続できた自分を褒めることで、継続する意欲を高めることができます。

目標を達成したら、自分をほめる
など、自分を褒める方法を見つけてみましょう。

学習する時間が無いと「学習」は難しいです。

学習する時間を作りましょう！

ぼくの場合、社会人で自営業ですから、
なるべく仕事の時間を長くしないで
収入が落ちないように工夫をしました。

例えば
自分の仕事を人に教える。
その仕事を代わりにやってもらう。
業務委託という形です。

こういったことで収入の極端な減収は
免れています。

資産がある方は投資なども良いでしょう。

学生のあなたはまだまだ時間があると思いますので、
今のうちに、学習の大切さを認識して
俯瞰（ふかん）して自分を見てみることで
学習の目的がみえてきます。

学習を継続することは、とても大切です。

学習を継続することで、

ぼくはAutoCADをやっていましたから、
隣の教室でillustratorやPhotoshopの講座に非常に興味がありました。

若い頃illustratorやPhotoshopをマスターしていれば
違う人生だったかもしれません。

AutoCADを学んでいた時期は同じ教室に共通の悩みを
持った生徒、それに答えてくれる先生がいますから
とても楽しかったです。

学習するときは身銭をきりましょう

学生さんには当てはまりませんが、
社会人のあなたは学習講座を受けるとき
必ず授業料を支払いましょう。

お金を払わない講座だと価値が得られない場合があります。

本気度が全く変わります。

そのために不動産や株式投資のプロの講座は
講習料金の値段設定が高い場合が多いです。

逆の立場で考えるとよくわかります。

体験が大切

何を学習するか分らない方は
公共のスキルアップ講習がありますから
片っ端から受けてみる方法もあります。

有料ですが、とてもリーズナブルです。

その中で自分が興味をひかれる物に集中して
学習をしてみるのも良いと思います。

ぼくは、旋盤 初心者講習、HTML5とCSS3、illustrator、
pythonなどの講習を受けてきました。

これはぼく自身の考え方です。
学習はオンラインで充分に出来ますが、
出来れば人に教わった方が効果的です。

人とふれあうと学習の濃度が変わります。
講座で悩んだこと、講師の先生に質問したこと
これは「体験」なのです。
